# Veritas Agent Installation and Backup in Windows Server အားလုံးပဲ မင်္ဂလာပါ။ ဒီနေ့ မှာတော့ Windows Server 2016 – Server က Data တွေကို Veritas Agent အသုံးပြုပြီး Veritas Server မှာ backup ဘယ်လိုလုပ်ရလဲဆိုတာ Demo လုပ်ပြသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ လုပ်ရမဲ့ Step လေးတွေကို အရင်ပြောပြပေးပါမယ်။ * Precheck * Step - 2: Update Visual C++ Libries Latest VC++ Version ကို Microsoft ကနေ Download လုပ်လို့ရပါတယ်။ ဘာလို့ Update လုပ်ဖို့လိုတာလဲဆိုတော့ Agents ရဲ့ requirement မှာ VC++ version limitation ရှိနေလို့ပါ။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ server က version နိမ့်တယ်ဆို Libries update လုပ်ပေးဖို့လိုပါတယ်။ Download ပြီးရင် Install လုပ်ပါမယ်။ auto install မို့ ခနစောင့်ပေးရပါတယ်။ [![](https://cdn.hashnode.com/res/hashnode/image/upload/v1725333366253/6dbb2e21-e958-43b3-a977-c061464cd318.png align="center")](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170) Latest Version ဖြစ်မဖြစ် ပြန်စစ်ကြည့်ပေးပါ။ တကယ်လို့ ကိုယ့် server က နဂိုတည်းက latest ဖြစ်ပြီးသားဆိုရင် Step – 2 ကို ကျော်သွားလို့ရပါတယ်။ ![](https://cdn.hashnode.com/res/hashnode/image/upload/v1725333495531/64e63177-bb28-4886-bd23-4f37f10b8e79.png align="center") --- ### Step -3 : Install Veritas Agent Installation Software ကို ၂ နေရာကနေ ရနိုင်ပါတယ်။ပထမ တစ်ခုက သူ့ရဲ့ Website ကနေ Software ကို Download ဆွဲတာ... ဒုတိယတစ်ခု Veritas Server ထဲက သွားယူတာ.. ကျွန်တော်က Veritas Server ရှိပြီးသားမို့ ဒုတိယ Option နဲ့လုပ်ပြသွားပါမယ်။ ဆိုတော့ Software ရှိတဲ့လမ်းကြောင်းလေးကို ပြပေးပါမယ်။ **Veritas Server >> C:\\Program Files\\Veritas\\Backup Exec\\Agents** ထဲမှာ ရှိပါတယ်။ ကိုယ့် server type ပေါ် မူတည်ပြီး 64 / 32 ကို copy ယူပါ။ ![](https://cdn.hashnode.com/res/hashnode/image/upload/v1725334299130/094377cc-d63b-4046-bba2-7db54258baac.png align="center") Copy ယူလာတဲ့ Folder ထဲမှာ setup file ပါပြီးသားမို့ Backup လုပ်မဲ့ server မှာ Agent ကို install လုပ်ပါမယ်။ ![Local Install -
